Membership Recruitment Acceptance Binding Agreement aka the MRABA
The MRABA, or the Membership Recruitment Acceptance Binding Agreement, is the agreement that all potential new members sign at the end of the last recruitment event. It is a binding contract so we want to make sure you have a chance to read through it and understand it before you get to it during recruitment.
What is the MRABA?
The MRABA is an agreement between the PNM (you) and the National Panhellenic Conference. It is the indication of your preferences of the sorority or sororities you visited during the Preference Round. The most important thing to know about it is that once you sign the MRABA and choose not to join or stay in the sorority from which you received a bid, you cannot join another chapter until the next primary recruitment period (which for us is Fall 2025). Our friends at The Sorority Life have a great guide to everything about the MRABA so we encourage you to visit the page below for more information!
