A Letter from the President of CPC
Welcome to The University of Tennessee at Martin’s College Panhellenic website! I’m glad to
see that you have made it this far as it shows you have interest in joining one of our Panhellenic
sororities. Here at UT Martin, we have four sororities: Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Omicron Pi, Chi
Omega, and Zeta Tau Alpha. We also represent Sigma Alpha which is an associate member
chapter. Throughout this website, you will be able to meet our Panhellenic Executive Council,
learn about our four sororities, and understand what being a sorority woman means to us.
By joining a sorority, you will not only make friends that will last a lifetime, but also gain a
number of motivating and empowering sisters who will truly help make your college experience
one to remember. Being in a sorority is so much more than just making friends. The community
work and outstanding opportunities that come with being a part of a sorority is what truly
motivates us to be powerful women. The number of opportunities for volunteer work,
scholarship, and campus involvement are endless. The women in our Panhellenic community
come up with some of the most creative ways to stay involved within our Martin community, and
strive to make our community better in different ways. Not only are our Panhellenic women
heavily involved, but they have a higher GPA average than other women on campus.
Each chapter has their own National Philanthropic organization in which they raise funds to
support and bring awareness to. These organizations are ones that are very special to each
individual chapter as they work hand in hand with the organizations to provide donations and
other items or supplies that may be needed in order to allow the organizations to continue
making a change.
Needless to say, I will always be grateful for my decision of becoming a Panhellenic woman.
The relationships, opportunities, and memories that I have made as a sorority woman are ones
that I will carry forever. Please take the time to read and learn about what each sorority has to
offer through this website. As always, I encourage every woman to picture themselves as a
sorority woman in hopes to see the endless opportunities in store for them and their future. Being a sorority woman is an amazing opportunity that no woman should miss out on. If you have any questions, please contact me, our Panhellenic advisor, or any members of the Panhellenic Executive Council.
Fraternally,
Gracie
College Panhellenic President
